Just under 1 month!!!

Family and friends,

Chris and I are looking forward to seeing everyone in a couple of weeks! Hopefully you have made reservations at the lodge already if that is something you wanted to do. If you're a procrastinator like me then just give them a call ASAP. We will be checking in and setting up the barns mid-afternoon before the rehearsal. After the bridal party is all finished with the rehearsal dinner, we would love for everyone to join us at the wine cafe on the lodge property (don't worry, map to follow) from 7:30-9:00pm for a wine tasting and dessert! This is going to be a fun night as everyone gets into town and we all get to re-connect. Please email me or Chris and let us know if you will be able to make it to the wine tasting/dessert. If you need any other help or travel ideas, please don't hesitate to ask. :)

2 months to go!

We are starting to feel like we are in the home stretch of planning and preparing! Just some notes for everyone...

• Have you made your hotel reservations yet??? If so, Thanks! If not, please do so as soon as you can. If we do not have everyone booked under the Albanez/Jordan Wedding by the end of June, we cannot guarantee they will have rooms available and we would really like to have everyone be included in the cheaper rate. There is another hotel/potentially-motel in town, but we don't want to worry about anyone drinking and driving. 
• MUSIC!!! Please let us know if you have any music suggestions and we will try to work them in to the reception. You can either email us your ideas or post them on this page.

Please let either Chris or me know if you need help with travel suggestions or ideas. We know every single person is travelling from near and far to be with us and celebrate our wedding. This is one of those rare moments in life we get to be surrounded by everyone we love. We cannot wait to see you all!

We will all be staying at the Lied Lodge at Arbor Day Farms in Nebraska City, Nebraska. It is a beautiful apple orchard and winery in Southeast Nebraska. We have a block of rooms reserved under "Albanez-Jordan Wedding," $119/night @ 800-546-5433. You can check out what else the Lodge offers at: www.liedlodge.org

If you would like suggestions for other hotels in Omaha during your visit, we would be happy to point you in the right direction.

The ceremony and reception will be at The Historic Barns at Lied Lodge, a beautiful outdoor location for a perfect summer evening!

Travel:
The Lodge is about a 45min drive south of Omaha or 45 min east of Lincoln. For commercial airline reservations, Epply Airfield would be your best option. Another option would be to check out Lincoln Municipal.

Everyone who wants a room at the Lodge may make their reservation anytime before July 4. We have a block of rooms under the Albanez-Jordan Wedding for $119/night. There is a restaurant on site, they offer wine tastings at the barns, a spa, and indoor pool are also great options for relaxing.

Cooper Jack Jordan

Here is our new little love, Cooper (on the left) with one of his best buddies, Cowboy the weiner dog. Coop and Cowboy romp around and chase each other, but Coop is getting so big he pretty much goes WWE on Cowboy. It's pretty entertaining! Cooper's birthday is April Fool's Day and we are starting puppy kindergarten this week!

We're Engaged!!!...

This snowboarding-motocross racing-punk rock stud from Nevada fell in love with a cheerleading-wineaholic-kinda country/kinda city/kinda hippie girl from Nebraska and the rest is history...

I'm starting this blog to keep everyone in our amazing, loving circle of family and friends in the loop on our lives and upcoming wedding details. Let me know what you think!

With Chris studying and breaking the sound barrier on any given day over the skies of North Carolina and me dropping other random (simulated) people and objects out the back of the mighty Herk over Arkansas, our lives are so crazy we can barely keep track of each other!

Chris popped the question on May 27 on our weekend get-away in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and life hasn't slowed down since!
